Zoe Leger is a Halifax, Nova Scotia-based singer, pianist, composer and educator who has been making waves since stepping onto the Canadian jazz scene in 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from St. Francis Xavier University, providing her with comprehensive training in jazz performance and pedagogy. Zoe has been an in-demand voice teacher in the Atlantic region for fifteen years, focusing on CCM (Contemporary Commercial Music) pedagogy, self-accompaniment for singers, and performance mindset coaching, bringing a unique combination of vocal and pianistic expertise to her teaching. She offers Halifax-based voice lessons and piano self-accompanying lessons for singers, along with group vocal coaching, clinician work, and festival adjudication, demonstrating her versatility as an educator. Zoe teaches at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts and also has a presence at Dalhousie University's Fountain School of Performing Arts, serving multiple institutions in the Halifax music community.
