Yunah Lee is an Associate Professor of Music in the Voice Studies program at the University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music. A Korean-American lyric soprano of international renown, Ms. Lee has been praised for her 'handsomely colored full lyric sound' and has established a distinguished career in opera and concert performance. She specializes in lyric soprano roles, particularly Puccini heroines including Mimi in La Bohรจme, which she has performed in over 70 acclaimed performances worldwide. Ms. Lee's extensive performance background includes leading roles in major opera productions internationally. As an Associate Professor, she is sought after for her vocal expertise and teaching philosophy, having been invited to give masterclasses by prestigious institutions throughout Italy, Korea, and the United States. Her students have gone on to successful careers in professional opera and concert settings. Ms. Lee combines her active performing career with dedicated teaching, helping her students develop secure technique, expressive artistry, and professional performance skills. She serves as a mentor to aspiring singers in the University of Arizona's rigorous voice program.
