Wolf Carr has been teaching and performing in the Pacific Northwest for more than 22 years and is currently based in Portland, Oregon. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, where he studied vocal pedagogy and composition with voice as his principal instrument, Wolf customizes lessons for students at all levels, focusing on breathing, range, power, endurance, and performance techniques that adapt classical methods for contemporary singers. His teaching spans an extraordinarily wide range of genres including folk, rock, country, jazz, R&B, metal, dance music, classical, and musical theater. Wolf's notable clients include Sleater Kinney, Modest Mouse, Waxahatchee, Yacht, Snail Mail, YOB, and Fleet Foxes, demonstrating his expertise in working with professional touring musicians and recording artists. His comprehensive approach helps singers develop technical mastery while maintaining the authentic style and expression required for contemporary music performance careers.
