Wendi Arms
About
Wendi W. Arms is an accomplished soprano and experienced voice teacher who joined the faculty of the Lawson Academy of the Arts at Converse University in 1994. She holds both a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Converse College, giving her extensive training in vocal pedagogy and performance technique. In addition to her role as a voice instructor at the Lawson Academy, Wendi serves as the Associate Music Librarian at Converse University, where she manages the extensive music library resources. She is also active in her faith community, serving as Praise Team Leader at First Presbyterian Church in Greer, South Carolina. With over three decades of experience in music education and performance, Wendi brings a wealth of knowledge about vocal technique, musical repertoire, and the performance process to her students. Her background in both institutional music education and church music ministry provides a well-rounded perspective on singing in diverse musical contexts. Wendi's students benefit from her deep understanding of classical vocal technique and her ability to nurture both musical development and artistic growth.
