W. Allin Sorenson
About
Dr. W. Allin Sorenson is Associate Provost for Campus Education and Professor of Music at Drury University, specializing in voice and choral studies. He has been a Drury faculty member since 1988, serving as Director of Choral Activities for 28 years, Department Chair of Music, and Dean of Fine and Performing Arts. A tenor who has appeared as soloist with the Springfield Symphony and Mid-America Singers, he is recognized throughout the region as an expert in vocal pedagogy. His choral ensembles have performed nationally and internationally at Carnegie Hall (1994, 1999) and toured extensively across Europe and Asia, including the Netherlands, France, Germany, Austria, Scotland, England, Italy, China, Greece, Turkey, and Scandinavia. He is an active church musician clinician and adjudicator.
