Victoria Rapanan is a native New Yorker and Filipino-American who works as an International Voice Teacher and Vocal Technician. She has taught voice for 34 years and trained and apprenticed in New York with the renowned Vocal Pedagogue, David Jones. Ms. Rapanan received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from California State University, with graduate study in Italy and New York. Besides classical training, she studied popular contemporary styles with Lisa Popeil (Voiceworks training), Ron Browning, and completed Levels I, II and III of Somatic Voicework™, the LoVetri method at the Contemporary Commercial Music Vocal Pedagogy Institute at Shenandoah University, and Estill International. She served as president and vice president of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, San Francisco Bay Area Chapter from 2006-2016. She was an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Diablo Valley College for 11 years and taught for Mt. Diablo Adult Education for 23 years. Her private studio is located in Pleasant Hill, CA. She has a popular YouTube channel called Healthy Vocal Technique with 500,000+ subscribers.
