Vanessa Martinez is a rising star in the Bakersfield music community, serving as Head Vocal Instructor and Strings at Bakersfield's School of Arts & Music. Her experience in music spans over a decade, with specialties in string instruments and vocal expertise. She achieved the title of Choir Director at the remarkable age of 16 and has since become an accomplished performing multi-instrumentalist. Vanessa studied Vocal Music at Bakersfield College and has performed at weddings, quinceaneras, and festivals throughout the region. She has worked as a volunteer manager at the Dolores Huerta Foundation and serves as Youth Leader at Saint Joseph Church, demonstrating her commitment to community service. Her dedication to seeing students transform through music is evident in her teaching philosophy of helping people leave practice with a renewed spirit.
