Valerie Pineda

About

Valerie Pineda is a soprano and accomplished vocal instructor with extensive performance and teaching experience. She is a graduate of Manhattan School of Music and studied at Boston Conservatory, where she performed at Boston Symphony Hall and regional opera companies. Valerie is a registered NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) instructor and co-founder of Pineda Conservatory and Executive Director of Pineda Lyric Opera Company (New Jersey). She was recognized by the NJ State Council for the Arts for her contributions to music education. Valerie moved to Richmond, Virginia in 2018 and established the Pineda Studio Richmond with her husband Juan, bringing professional musical training to students of all ages. She specializes in voice instruction across multiple musical styles and currently serves as Music Director at Welborne UMC in Richmond.
