Trevor Cochrane is a versatile music instructor at Harris Academy of the Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he teaches voice, trombone, bassoon, jazz studies, beginning guitar, and beginning piano to students of all ages and levels. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University. While at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Trevor was highly involved in the music department, performing with groups such as the Touch of Class Jazz Choir and the Nebraska Wesleyan Symphonic Band. His vocal experiences with the Nebraska Wesleyan University Choir provided the opportunity to tour and perform domestically and internationally in prestigious venues such as the St. Cecelia Cathedral in Omaha and Carnegie Hall in New York City. Trevor served as a bass section leader in the NWU Choir, principal bassoonist in the NWU band, and principal trombone in the NWU Jazz Band. With his diverse background in classical, jazz, and musical theatre styles, Trevor brings a comprehensive musical education to his students, emphasizing proper technique, musicianship, and the joy of making music.
