About
Tina Langevin is a voice teacher specializing in Contemporary, Classical & Musical Theater at Chapel Hill School of Musical Arts. She holds a Masters degree in Music from East Carolina University with dual concentrations in Voice Performance and Vocal Pedagogy, and a Bachelors degree in Music with Voice Performance concentration and Psychology minor from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, graduating with University Honors and Magna Cum Laude. She has completed a master's thesis on classical vocal technique for contemporary singers and directed opera theatre at ECU. Tina is certified at the highest certification level in LoVetri Somatic VoiceWork™ and has additional certifications in musical theater pedagogy and CCM Vocal Pedagogy Institute from Shenandoah University. She emphasizes that "vocal expression is a reflection of oneself, involving the body, mind, and emotions" and customizes instruction to address each student's unique needs and goals. Her background includes performing in cover bands and developing technical skills while exploring somatic voicework practices to enhance vocal expression.
