Tiffany Baxter
About
Tiffany Baxter is a professional voice teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience in Modesto, California. She holds a Bachelor's and Master's of Music in Vocal Performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Before relocating to Modesto in 2020, she taught at Salem State University in Massachusetts and ran a successful private studio. As a versatile performer, she has enjoyed roles such as Pamina in The Magic Flute, Mercedes in Carmen, and characters in musicals like Guys and Dolls and Oklahoma! In addition to her private studio, she teaches voice at Delta College, is one of the voice faculty of Opera Modesto's Summer Opera Institute, and serves as the Chorus Director for Opera Modesto. She is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), having served on the board of NATS-Boston for 7 years, including 2 years as president and 3 years running the Festival Auditions. Her teaching approach is backed by science-informed vocal technique individualized to each student's specific goals.
