Thomas Glenn is a Grammy Award-winning tenor who serves as Voice Area Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Voice at Utah State University. He is recognized as a creative interpreter of bel canto and Classical period literature. His signature operatic roles include Count Almaviva in Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia, Ferrando in Mozart's Così fan tutte, and The Evangelist in Bach's St. Matthew Passion. He notably created the role of Robert Wilson in John Adams' Doctor Atomic and collaborates with modern composers including Jack Perla and Jake Heggie. Glenn has performed with major opera companies including San Francisco Opera, The Metropolitan Opera, and Lyric Opera of Chicago, as well as orchestras including Cleveland Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, and San Francisco Symphony. Recent engagements include roles in American Apollo (Des Moines Metro Opera), Falstaff (Palm Beach Opera), and Hadrian (Canadian Opera Company). He is a former Adler Fellow at San Francisco Opera and winner of the Concours International de Chant de Canari in France.
