Thomas Gerber serves as the Assistant Director of Choral Activities at Texas A&M University, where he directs the Century Singers and The Reveliers. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Choral and Instrumental Music Education from Luther College and his Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where he studied under Dr. Rivers and Dr. Scott while also studying voice with David Adams. Gerber is currently pursuing his DMA in Choral Conducting with a cognate in Vocal Pedagogy at the University of North Texas. Before arriving at Texas A&M, he served as Music Director at Bishop England High School in South Carolina, where he developed a strong reputation for choral excellence. As director of the Century Singers since 2022, he led the choir on a European tour of Spain and Portugal in 2023. Gerber brings expertise in both choral conducting and vocal pedagogy to his work at Texas A&M, helping students develop their voices while creating outstanding choral performances. His dual focus on conducting and vocal technique makes him a valuable resource for students interested in both individual voice development and ensemble singing.
