Tegan Miller
About
Tegan Miller is Founder and Artistic Director of MTC Vocal Academy, Savannah's premier boutique voice studio dedicated to helping popular music singers take their voice and storytelling to the next level. A multi-genre soprano from Kentucky, Tegan has performed internationally at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and the Vatican. She brings extensive stage experience from off-Broadway, regional, and workshop productions throughout the United States. In 2020, she was a semi-finalist and winner of the People's Choice Award at the American Traditions Vocal Competition. Tegan also founded and directs Spectra, a feminist treble choir in Savannah, and co-leads the swing band Tegan and the Turnarounds. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes developing authentic vocal technique and storytelling skills for singers of all genres.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor of Music in Music Education from University of Kentucky; studied Conducting and Ear Training at Juilliard School of Music; additional training at European American Musical Alliance in Paris; currently pursuing Master's in Choral Conducting at Simpson College, Iowa
