About
Tara Priolo is a soprano vocalist, brand coach, voice teacher, activist, diversity counselor, and arts administrator based in Minneapolis. She works across multiple professional roles with a core commitment centered on vulnerability, equality & equity, and a penchant for starting and facilitating hard conversations. Through her studio, Tara Priolo Method, she employs client-led, goal-oriented lessons and coachings designed to meet people exactly where they are and release the entanglements they've placed on their voicesâspoken, sung, written, or in the online space. She teaches voice, piano, and offers personal brand and authenticity coaching. Tara is Co-Managing Diva of Opera on TapâTwin Cities, Operations Manager at Thursday Musical, and serves as a Diversity Consultant for Opera Reading Project's IDEA Fellowship. She has performed with Minnesota Opera Chorus, An Opera Theatre, and Journey North Opera Company. Her album 'Soliloquy' features 10 works by Black composers, showcasing her commitment to underrepresented voices in classical music.
Education & Qualifications
MM in Vocal Performance from University of MinnesotaâDuluth (2015); BA in Vocal Performance from Luther College (2013). Current studies with mezzo-soprano Victoria Vargas and coach Eric McEnaney.
