Dr. Suzanne Galer-Wert is the founder and director of Bel Canto Studios of Palm Beach, where she teaches private voice lessons specializing in opera and classical music. She holds a doctorate and master's degree in vocal performance, with classical music as her primary area of expertise. Dr. Galer began her career as a professional opera singer and has performed with Palm Beach Opera in their 2014-15 season productions including La Boheme and La Fille du Regiment, as well as a world premiere by Benjamin Moore. She joined the vocal faculty at Palm Beach Atlantic in 2012 and currently serves as an adjunct professor of voice at Palm Beach State College. Her vocal training encompasses the Bel Canto method and Somatic Voicework, including the Lovetri Method (levels 1, 2, 3). She has attended workshops with prestigious organizations including the New York Singing Teachers Association, The National Opera Association, and the National Association of Teachers of Singing. At Bel Canto Studios, Dr. Galer blends musical theater, opera, jazz, pop-rock, gospel, and other styles, all unified by healthy vocal technique. She is passionate about developing her students' artistry while ensuring proper vocal health and technique.
