Sun-Joo 'Sunny' Oh is a distinguished Professor of Voice at East Tennessee State University, where she has taught since 2005 and earned tenure in 2012. A soprano from Busan, South Korea, she brings international performance experience to her teaching. Her operatic roles include The Queen of the Night in Magic Flute and Musetta in La Bohรจme. She has performed as a soloist in major orchestral works including Brahms' Requiem, Haydn's Creation, and Handel's Messiah across the eastern United States, Europe, Brazil, and South Korea. Beyond her traditional vocal training, she became a certified yoga instructor in 2020, specializing in yoga instruction for singers to enhance vocal health and performance.
