He serves as Lecturer in Music, Voice at Centenary College of Louisiana's Hurley School of Music. Opera News has hailed him as a committed actor with a voluptuous baritone. His vocal range spans comic roles, romantic leads, and dramatic parts, demonstrating his ability to merge vocal skill with physical performance. Steve holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Music from Western Connecticut State University. He has performed with numerous nationally recognized opera companies including Shreveport Opera (Escamillo in Carmen), The Florentine Opera, First Coast Opera, Opera San José, City Lyric Opera, Opera Project Columbus, Winter Opera St. Louis, The New Haven Symphony Orchestra, and the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra. His repertoire includes Papageno in The Magic Flute, Marcello in La bohème, and roles in musical theater productions including Newsies, Carousel, and Guys and Dolls.
