Stephanie Hatfield is a singer, songwriter, and music teacher based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where she has been teaching music for over 15 years through her Free Box Music studio. Originally from the Detroit area with Kentucky hillbilly heritage, Stephanie is described as having a vivacious personality to match her compelling singing, songwriting, and performance. Known for emotionally powerful vocal delivery, her music explores heartbreak and emotional release through an expansive voice. Stephanie has taught at Santa Fe Performing Arts and La Mariposa Montessori, and hosts two recitals per year with live accompaniment for her students. Her teaching approach combines technical vocal development with emotional expression and authentic performance skills, drawing on her extensive experience as a performing artist. Based in Santa Fe, Stephanie creates a supportive learning environment where students can develop their voices while exploring personal artistic expression through songwriting and performance.
