Steffanie Pearce is a dynamic opera producer, director, performer, and esteemed vocal teacher with over 40 years of experience in the great art form of opera. As the Founder and General Director of Gulfshore Opera, Pearce has brought world-class operatic performances to Southwest Florida and beyond. Before focusing her energy on producing and directing opera at the highest professional level, Ms. Pearce enjoyed a long and distinguished international singing career with major opera companies including Opera Marseille, Opera Lisbon, The Opera Company of Philadelphia, and San Diego Opera. Her performances have graced prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. In 2005, recognizing a need for opera education and performance in her community, Pearce founded Southwest Florida's first opera company in Naples. By 2014, she reorganized and expanded operations into a tri-county enterprise with the formation of Gulfshore Opera. Her visionary leadership has earned recognition including the 2016 WGCU Makers Award, honoring her as one of five women in Southwest Florida whose authentic passion and inspiration will leave a lasting impact on the region's culture and community. In 2023, she was selected as one of Gulfshore Life's Women of the Year. Steffanie combines her decades of performance expertise with her passion for arts education to develop the next generation of singers.
