Stavros Tachos
About
I'm Stavros Tachos, a vocal coach, singer, composer, and music educator based in Thessaloniki, Greece. I offer personalized singing lessons both in person and online, working with singers across Classical, Pop, Rock, Jazz, and Musical Theatre. I'm the creator of "The Vocal Space Method", a personalized voice pedagogy framework that guides singers from self-observation toward self-regulation. Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all instructions, we explore vocal, physical, auditory, and imaginative cues, helping each singer develop a personal "Vocal Cue Network" — a collection of strategies they can recognize, adapt, and apply independently. My lessons may focus on breath management, vocal registers and transitions, resonance, pitch accuracy, phrasing, articulation, expression, and stylistic flexibility. Every lesson is adapted to the singer's individual needs, musical interests, and learning process. Emphasis is placed on vocal awareness, individualized learning strategies, self-regulation, and long-term singer autonomy. Alongside my teaching experience, my background includes classical vocal training, musical theatre performance, and academic research in Music Pedagogy and educational technology. My goal is not simply to help singers produce a particular sound, but to empower them to understand their own voices and develop greater confidence, flexibility, and artistic freedom.
