Stacey Ledoux
About
Stacey Ledoux is an accomplished vocal instructor and crossover artist specializing in both classical and musical theater performance. Her journey demonstrates remarkable resilience and dedication to vocal excellence. She earned a Bachelor of Theatre Arts from Rhode Island College in 1991 and began her performance career. However, years of improper vocal technique left her unable to sing by age 32. Rather than accept this setback, she returned to college at age 36 to study proper vocal technique, earning a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance (summa cum laude) from Rhode Island College in 2010. Stacey now works professionally as both a classical soloist and musical theater performer, having performed at Theatre by the Sea and Ocean State Theatre Company in Rhode Island, North Shore Music Theatre in Massachusetts, and New Bedford Festival Theatre. She has appeared as soprano soloist with the West Bay Choral and Fall River Symphonic Orchestra, and has performed with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Educational Series. She currently works as a professional church cantor and maintains a private vocal studio where she develops well-rounded performers by combining vocal technique with acting instruction.
