BIOGRAPHY Shannon Denise Talley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Southern Utah University and a Master's of Music in vocal performance from The University of North Texas. From California to New York Ms. Talley's performance experience includes various genres ranging from Broadway to oratorio. Her experience with professional companies and summer artist programs include: Opera Theater of the Rockies (Vocal Arts Symposium), Fort Worth Opera Studio, Seagle Music Colony, Opera in the Heights, Fort Worth Opera, The Living Opera, Midland Opera Theatre and Los Angeles OperaWorks. Ms. Talley has been engaging students in voice lessons, coachings, singing acting classes, productions and vocal workshops for over twenty years in both public and private forums. She has taught courses in Music Appreciation, applied voice and choral studies at Richland College, Tarrant County College South Campus, Texas Tech University and Texas Wesleyan University. Working with music majors ranging from freshman to doctoral students, Ms. Talley loves training students of all different backgrounds and levels. Ms. Talley sang her first European Tour in June, 2014 as a soloist and section leader with Plano Civic Chorus, Plano, TX and most recently toured Italy with the same company May 2024. Shannon believes singing is a gift for everyone to enjoy.
