Sean Stephansen is a multi-instrumentalist and voice teacher based in Athens, Georgia, dedicated to cultivating comprehensive musicianship in his students. With extensive experience working with musicians and singers across all age groups and skill levels, he has a proven track record of helping students develop strong technical foundations while exploring a wide range of musical genres. Sean's teaching philosophy emphasizes building well-rounded musicianship rather than focusing narrowly on a single instrumental technique. Throughout his career, he has participated in and led diverse musical ensembles including choirs, a cappella groups, folk bands, and rock bands, drawing on these experiences to inform his teaching. Sean began his musical education at a young age and developed his passion for sharing musical knowledge with others while still in high school. His early teaching experience included instructing students at local schools, and he has since expanded his private teaching practice to serve students of various ages and backgrounds. In addition to voice instruction, Sean teaches piano and guitar, allowing him to provide integrated musicianship training.
