Sarah Jorgenson is an accomplished voice teacher with nearly 20 years of experience in both private and collegiate teaching settings. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Classical Voice Performance and has completed extensive master's-level pedagogy coursework from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Throughout her career, she has won many vocal competitions, including the prestigious Soli Deo Gloria Voice Competition, and has performed as a soloist with multiple orchestras across the region. Her passion for inclusive music education led her to found Rising Stars Show Choir 4 Kids, a non-audition fully inclusive choir designed to serve children of all ages and abilities regardless of prior singing experience. This innovative program reflects her belief that music should be accessible to everyone. Sarah is a Teaching Artist with City Voices Des Moines, serving the Des Moines community through group instruction, private lessons, and music education programs. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes building confidence, developing proper vocal technique, and fostering a lifelong love of music.
