Sara McFaddin
About
Sara McFaddin has been teaching voice and piano at Colors Fine Arts Center since 2005. She studied music at Auburn University and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, earning a degree in Music Vocal Performance with secondary studies in Music Education, Vocal Pedagogy, Piano, and Organ. Sara is an accomplished performer with experience in numerous operas and musicals including Oklahoma, Godspell, Carousel, and Carmen. She frequently performs as a concert soloist and soprano soloist for major choral works. Sara serves as Children Choir Director at Central Presbyterian Church in Huntsville and currently performs with the Huntsville Master Chorale. Beyond private instruction, she also teaches general music at local preschools and for United Cerebral Palsy Sensory Camps. She is a member of professional organizations including MENC, AVA, MTNA, ACDA, and NATS, and regularly adjudicates music competitions.
