Ruth Gerson is an acclaimed singer-songwriter and vocal coach based in the Bay Area, hailed as an underground songwriting master by the San Francisco Chronicle. A native New Yorker now residing in California, Ruth has appeared on major television networks including The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, NBC Extra, PBS, Showtime, HBO, and Lifetime. She has released seven independent albums and recorded with Grammy-winning artists, demonstrating both her artistry as a performer and her deep understanding of the recording process. As a vocal coach, Ruth specializes in vocal technique, singer-songwriter instruction, and preparing young singers for college auditions. Her students have gained acceptance to prestigious music programs including USC Thornton, NYU Steinhardt/Tisch, Berklee College of Music, University of Miami Frost School of Music, Carnegie Mellon, and CalArts. Ruth offers private vocal lessons, group singing classes, and Voice Club membership programs, bringing her extensive professional performance experience and industry knowledge to help students develop their unique artistic voices.
