Robert Carrasco is a professional voice teacher and performer based in Austin, Texas, offering both in-person and online vocal coaching with over 20 years of experience as a professional singer. He earned his BM in Vocal Music Education from Chapman University in California and completed a Graduate Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, where he received his MM in Voice Performance. Robert has trained in Holistic Vocology under Tom Burke and Robert Sussuma in New York City and holds Estill Voice Training certification in Levels I and II. His teaching methodology employs a holistic approach that integrates classical and contemporary vocal styles with speech rehabilitation, Pilates, Yoga, Alexander Technique, dance, and martial arts principles. Robert creates a supportive environment with clear step-by-step guidance for musical theatre performers, singer-songwriters, pop and rock vocalists, classical singers, and those preparing for auditions. His extensive performance background includes touring Eastern Europe, performing with the Los Angeles Opera Chorus, national tours throughout the USA and Canada including the lead role in The Drowsy Chaperone, regional theatre and Off-Broadway performances, and recording studio work for musical theatre albums.
