Rob Woodin
About
Rob Woodin is a versatile lyric baritone and experienced voice instructor based in the Boston area. Since 2008, he has been teaching voice at Brookline Music School, Boston College, and Groton Hill Music. He specializes in private lessons, musical theater camps, and specialized classes. Rob is a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. As a performer, he has appeared with numerous opera companies including Odyssey Opera, Boston Opera Collaborative, and New Jersey Opera. He also serves as cantor and music director at Sacred Heart Church in Waltham, MA, and as a baritone choral fellow at Old South Church in Boston. Rob emphasizes teaching students how to teach themselves through efficient practice approaches and natural vocal techniques, with a well-rounded repertoire spanning classical, musical theater, jazz, pop, and contemporary music.
