Renée Landry is an accomplished singer, songwriter, recording artist, and evidence-based vocal coach who owns and operates LAB Studios in Ottawa. Featured as one of Ottawa's best musicians in Ottawa Life Magazine's "Best of Ottawa," Renée is recognized as a powerhouse of Northern Ontario soul. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Music in Jazz/Soul Vocal Performance from Carleton University and has worked as a professional musician for over a decade. LAB Studios offers somatic, evidence-based teaching methods along with comprehensive vocal health education for singers of all levels and backgrounds. Her performance career includes notable appearances at venues such as the National Arts Centre Fourth Stage, Ottawa Jazz Festival, and RBC's Ottawa Bluesfest, where she has captivated audiences with her powerful and soulful performances. She is currently best known for her renowned live show "Back To Black: A Tribute To Amy Winehouse," which showcases her dynamic stage presence and vocal prowess. As a vocal coach for the past 10 years, Renée combines her extensive performance experience with evidence-based pedagogy to help students develop healthy, sustainable vocal technique while finding their authentic artistic voice across jazz, soul, pop, and contemporary styles.
