Rene Urbanovich is an active voice coach in Santa Clarita who has been teaching since age twenty, when a vocal injury forced them to educate themselves and repair their vocal folds through therapy. This personal experience became the foundation for a teaching methodology focused on healthy vocal technique and vocal recovery. Rene teaches hundreds of students annually through private sessions, workshops, and seminars, working with Broadway singers, MTV artists, television and voiceover professionals, indie musicians, karaoke singers, and church vocalists. Their teaching approach is technique-focused, emphasizing proper vocal mechanics and healthy practices to build vocal instruments capable of handling pop and musical theatre demands. Rene's methodology includes confidence building through removing mystery from vocal function with structured practice and live video performance, creative expression by encouraging songwriting and composition experimentation during lessons, recording integration with in-house recording during sessions for progress tracking and comfort with self-assessment, and range and stamina development while preserving individual vocal identity. Rene's philosophy centers on the belief that the singer is part of something greater than herself, contributing her gift to help the masses.
