Reid Bruton is a renowned voice teacher and performing artist based in Los Angeles whose reputation for going above and beyond for his students has positioned him as a foremost voice teacher in Southern California. His students frequently place as finalists in competitions such as the Metropolitan Opera National Council Competition. Reid studied with Beverly Johnson at the Juilliard School of Music, and trained with Giorgio Tozzi, Fred Carama, Joan Zajac, William Vendice, Armen Guzelimian, and his current teacher of over 25 years, Judith Natalucci. His greatest singing lessons came from the stage, performing next to world-renowned operatic stars in more than 100 productions at LA Opera, singing roles in MacBeth, Thaïs, Billy Budd, Salome, Gianni Schicci, Der Rosenkavalier, Rigoletto, La Traviata, Die Zauberflöte, Carmen, and La Boheme. His musical home is the LA Master Chorale, where as a low bass, he excels in choral performance. Reid has sung on the soundtracks of over 200 major motion pictures including Avatar, Avatar: The Way of Water, Avengers, Frozen, The Matrix, Spider Man, The Simpsons Movie, X-Men, Tangled, Oz the Great and Powerful, Lion King (2019), and several Star Wars movies. His distinctively deep voice can be heard on the Boston Pops Christmas album singing 'You're a mean one Mr. Grinch'.
