Dr. Rebecca Hays is an Associate Professor of Voice at Texas A&M University's College of Performance, Visualization & Fine Arts in College Station, where she specializes in class and studio voice, opera, musical theatre, and commercial singing. A soprano with a distinguished career, Dr. Hays focuses her research on vocal health and vocal vitality, working to rebuild singing voices and help students maintain healthy vocal technique. She serves as the Artistic Director of Music in the Marche, a summer music program in Mondavio, Italy, providing students with international performance opportunities. Dr. Hays earned her degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and brings extensive expertise in vocal pedagogy and performance to her teaching at Texas A&M, where she works with students in classical, operatic, musical theatre, and contemporary commercial music styles.
