Rachel Helton
About
Rachel Helton is the owner and founder of Bristol Academy of Music, established in 2019. She holds both a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music in vocal performance from Indiana University's renowned Jacobs School of Music. With 15 years of professional operatic performance experience, Rachel has sung leading roles in Carmen, Hรคnsel und Gretel, The Magic Flute, and concert performances of Verdi's Requiem, Mozart's Requiem, and Handel's Messiah with regional opera companies. She has been a dedicated music instructor for 12 years, teaching voice and piano to students of all levels. Rachel is an adjunct professor of voice at Emory & Henry University and has previously taught at East Tennessee State University, Milligan University, and King University. Her students have achieved success locally, nationally, and internationally.
