Priscilla Smith is the founder and director of Annapolis Musical Theater Company, bringing over 20 years of experience as a voice, musical theater, and dance teacher. She is a certified Kindermusik instructor and has studied Estill Voice Training extensively. Priscilla studied Voice and Musical Theater at both Berklee College of Music and The Boston Conservatory, two of the most prestigious music institutions in the United States. Her professional performance career spans Europe and the East Coast, with experience performing on major stages including the Frankfurt Opera House and numerous playhouses across Europe. She has recorded five albums encompassing multiple genres including Jazz, Musical Theater, R&B, and Pop. Based in Annapolis, Maryland, Priscilla has directed Annapolis Musical Theater Company for 16 years, building it into a thriving community arts organization that offers musical theater education to children and adults. She previously worked as a professional commercial singer and industrial vocalist in New York City. Priscilla is also the founder and director of Sarasota Musical Theater Company in Florida, expanding her music education programs beyond Maryland. Her passion for developing young artists and fostering creativity through musical theater continues to inspire her students to pursue excellence in the performing arts.
