Polina Pastushenko is a voice and piano instructor serving the Scranton area through Rising Stars Performing Arts Academy. She holds a Music Education degree from Marywood University with concentrations in both piano and voice performance, one of the premier music programs in Northeast Pennsylvania. Polina brings six years of private lesson experience, combined with her professional work in music education and drama instruction. Currently, she serves as an elementary school teacher at Crestwood School District, where she integrates music education into the broader learning curriculum. Additionally, she works as drama director at Crestwood Secondary Campus, directing theatrical productions and developing students' performance skills. Her professional background also includes work at the Marywood Summer Music Academy as a piano instructor, where she contributed to a competitive summer program attracting serious music students. With her dual expertise in voice and piano, combined with her experience in drama direction, Polina offers comprehensive vocal training that includes not only technical singing instruction but also performance confidence, stage presence, and character development. Her students benefit from her understanding of how vocal training integrates with theatrical expression and musical interpretation.
