Phoebe Gildea

Phoebe Gildea is an active professional performer and passionate educator based in Portland, Oregon. With a background of classical voice and piano technique including a Bachelor of Music in performance from Chapman University and a Bachelor of Arts in music history from Chapman University (with thesis on resurrection mythology in opera), Phoebe brings deep artistic knowledge to their teaching practice. They are a Licensed Body Mapping Educator and hold two levels of Teacher Certification from the nationally renowned OperaWorks program. Phoebe is a full member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and a licensed member of the Association for Body Mapping Education. Their specialty is voice instruction for singers at every level, with additional experience teaching beginning to intermediate piano students. Phoebe offers both in-person lessons in Portland and virtual instruction worldwide, specializing in helping musicians develop stage presence, discover authentic artistic voices, and build comprehensive performance skills.
