Paul McCready

About

Paul McCready is a voice instructor and co-founder of Cincinnati Music Academy, where he has been teaching for over 30 years. Recognized as an excellent communicator of vocal technique, Paul studied with William McGraw for fifteen years and earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Voice Performance from Ohio University, followed by post-graduate work in Voice Performance from the University of Cincinnati. As founder and owner of Cincinnati Music Academy from 1997-2022, Paul directed a highly successful studio where he teaches an individualized approach tailored to each student's musical goals. His students have received scholarships to prestigious institutions including New York University, Northwestern University, Carnegie Mellon, Notre Dame, Boston University, and University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Many of his students have gone on to perform on Broadway, with Cincinnati Opera, Columbus Opera, and other regional opera companies, and on Paramount and Disney cruise lines. Paul believes that devoted teachers unlock the potential in all of us.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Voice Performance from Ohio University. Post-graduate work in Voice Performance from University of Cincinnati. Studied with William McGraw for fifteen years.
