Patricia Shanks is a voice and piano teacher, former professional opera chorister, Emmy® Award-winning writer (2010), creativity coach, and on-air talent. Established in 1973 and in Orange County since 1999, Patricia Shanks Voice Studio offers exceptional singing, piano lessons, voiceover and acting coaching for ages 10+. Patricia trained at University of Redlands with Lila Stuart Bachelder and studied with Natalie Limonick, Nina Hinson, Naomi Farr, and Esther Andreas. She sang in master classes for Giorgio Tozzi, Jess Thomas, Blanche Thebom, and Dorothy Warenskjold. She holds a California Standard Designated Subjects teaching credential, SAG-AFTRA and AGMA memberships. Patricia was formerly voice instructor at Young Americans College of the Performing Arts and Orange County School of the Arts, and taught for Gold Coast Theater Conservatory and CSU Dominguez Hills.
