About
Olga Miliuta is an internationally awarded opera soprano and founder of BelCanto music company in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born in Belarus to a Ukrainian mother with Polish and German heritage, and began expressing her dream to become a singer at age 3. She graduated from Belarusian State Conservatory with professional degrees as an opera singer, vocal teacher, piano teacher, and choral director, earning her university degree in opera singing at age 26. She has trained in 16 different languages for operatic performance and is a winner of opera and operetta competitions in France, Italy, Belarus, and the USA. Early in her career, she was invited to perform as a soloist with a folk orchestra and secured a position as an accompanist at a classical ballet school. After immigrating to America, she adapted her teaching methodology by blending European classical traditions with American musical approaches. In May 2022, she officially established BelCanto, offering piano and voice lessons across multiple genres including classical, opera, musical, pop, rock, mariachi, jazz, and bossa nova, as well as live opera and classical performances and stage confidence training for children and adults. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she emphasizes the philosophy: Never stop following your dream, but to reach your goal never stop working for it.
