Nyla Cione

About

Nyla Cione is a voice coach and studio owner with a passion for helping singers discover and develop voices they love. Originally from Miami, FL, she was born into a musical family with both parents as national and international jazz artists. Nyla began singing at age 4 and performing professionally by age 7 in theater, private engagements, worship settings, pop/R&B bands, jazz trios, and recording projects. She has been coaching since 2004 and has been a resident of Wilmington, NC since 2012. Nyla teaches ages 9 and up, all levels and musical styles, using science-informed pedagogy, Estill Voice Training principles, Bel Canto, and Speech Level Singing to support healthy techniques across all musical styles. She studied with Carolyn Stanford (Classical, Miami), trained under Brett Manning (Speech Level, Nashville), received instruction from Claude Stein (Pop/R&B, NYC), and coaching from Joe Spinella (Classical/Musical Theater, Sarasota).
