Noah Palmer is one of the Capital Region's most accomplished and in-demand vocal coaches and collaborative pianists, bringing professional expertise from multiple genres to his teaching. He currently serves as Assistant Director and Accompanist for Albany Pro Musica, the preeminent choral ensemble in New York's Capital Region, where he works directly with auditioned singers at the highest artistic levels. Noah holds advanced credentials including a Master's degree from the Mannes School of Music, one of the nation's most prestigious conservatories, where he studied piano with Pavlina Dokovska. His undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Music from New York University, where he studied piano with José Ramón Méndez. As a vocal coach and rehearsal pianist, Noah has worked with multiple regional opera companies including Sarasota Opera, Opera North, and the Berkshire Opera Festival, bringing professional operatic experience to his instruction. In 2016, Noah was selected as Chorus Master at the prestigious Merola Opera Program with the San Francisco Opera, one of the nation's most competitive and respected apprentice programs. He has conducted and collaborated with numerous choral and instrumental ensembles across the Northeast and has studied conducting with accomplished maestros including John Yaffe and Steve Osgood, and participated in masterclasses with internationally renowned conductors. Noah is also Artistic Director of Saratoga Voices, an 80-voice auditioned choir, and Artistic Director of Music at Trinity Lenox. His approach emphasizes collaborative artistry, innovative performance methods, and personalized attention to each student's development.
