Nathan Trahan is Director of Choral Activities and Vocal Music Education at Louisiana Tech University School of Music in Ruston, Louisiana. Prior to his appointment at Louisiana Tech, Professor Trahan served as Choir Director at Ruston High School, where he built strong connections with the local community. He completed his Bachelor of Music in Music Education at the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2006 and his Master of Music in Music Education at Florida State University in 2010. Professor Trahan directs choral ensembles at Louisiana Tech and teaches vocal music education courses to prepare future music educators. He is dedicated to developing young voices and fostering a love of choral music in his students. His experience spans both university and secondary education, giving him valuable insights into vocal development across different age groups and skill levels.
