About
Natalie Amaya is a renowned Bay Area singer, stage performer, and voice instructor who has been singing professionally and performing nationally and internationally for over three decades. She has been teaching voice since 2001. As a member of the Actors' Equity Association (AEA) since 2002, Natalie has performed in many musicals, including "Selena Forever" (National Tour and Los Angeles residence), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Buddy Holly Story, The Wizard of Oz, Children of Eden, Flower Drum Song, and most recently In The Heights. She spent months singing as a finalist on Univision's hit television show, Objectivo Fama. She has performed in multiple concerts with Salvadorian pop singer Alvaro Torres, and has recorded with Grammy and Latin Grammy award winner Cesar Benitez. She was the director of children's musical theater at Berkeley Playhouse. Of Salvadorian and Swedish heritage, Natalie specializes in voice lessons, vocal coaching and audition and performance preparation for adults, teens and children. She has worked in musical theatre, recording and live performance with bands in multiple genres including rock, pop, Broadway, Latin and R&B.
