Miriah Reyes is a professional soprano soloist and vocal instructor based in Williamsville, NY, serving the greater Buffalo and Amherst region. With a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Spanish Language and Literature from Buffalo State College (2011), Miriah combines her multicultural background with extensive choral and solo performance experience. She has been singing with collegiate and professional choirs for over a decade, maintaining active memberships with the Vocalis Chamber Choir and the Buffalo Women's Choir, prestigious ensembles known for high-quality vocal performance. As a frequent soprano soloist in the Buffalo area, Miriah regularly performs at St. Joseph's Cathedral, St. Gregory the Great, and throughout Western New York. Her concert experience includes masterclasses with renowned international composers and conductors Ola Gjeilo and Bob Chilcott, and she toured to London in 2014 with Vocalis Chamber Choir to perform at the prestigious Ely Cathedral and Cambridge Summer Music Festival. In 2015, she expanded her performance experience by touring to New York City to sing with Grammy Award-winning composer Ola Gjeilo. Beyond her performance career, Miriah teaches private vocal lessons at the Williamsville Performing Arts Studio, where she works with students of all ages and skill levels. Her teaching approach draws on her extensive choral training, solo performance experience, and deep musical theater knowledge, having performed lead roles in productions including Fiddler on the Roof, Anything Goes, and Damn Yankees. She brings passion, expertise, and a nurturing teaching style to vocal instruction.
