Michael Talerico is a professional tenor and voice teacher based in Tempe, Arizona. With formal training from prestigious conservatories including Cleveland Institute of Music, New England Conservatory, and West Virginia University, he brings a strong classical foundation to his voice instruction. As a member of Arizona Opera, Michael has performed with one of the major regional opera companies in the United States, bringing professional performance experience to his teaching. He has performed internationally, including a leading role performance in Les contes d'Hoffman (The Tales of Hoffmann) in Périgueux, France. Michael specializes in opera and classical vocal technique, and he works with students to develop proper vocal production, expand their range, and prepare for auditions. His experience performing professionally around the world informs his teaching approach, allowing him to guide students through the practical and artistic challenges of vocal performance. He offers private voice lessons in Tempe for students of all ages and levels.
