Meleeah Abkarian
About
Meleeah Abkarian is a Los Angeles-based soprano and faculty member in the Vocal Arts Department at Pasadena Conservatory of Music, where she herself trained operatically and graduated in 2010. She holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from California State University, Northridge. In 2019, she became an honorary member of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society. Her performance experience spans internationally with the FAVA Opera Program in France, Summer Arts in Germany, and VISI in Vancouver. Her inclusion of Armenian songs in her performance repertory has gained her recognition by the Armenian Chronicles. She continues her training with her former teacher Marinรฉ Ter-Kazaryan and also works as a piano and voice instructor at 88 Keys Music Academy in Arcadia.
