Melanie Cain
About
Dr. Melanie Cain is the owner and founder of Maven Vocal Arts in Madison, Wisconsin and is an accomplished vocalist with degrees in music and art. She holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance and a Master of Music degree, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Dr. Cain has advanced certifications in Estill Voice Training (Levels 1-2) and teaches across classical, musical theater, and contemporary genres with a philosophy that 'music is the one thing that touches us all universally.' She is the President Emeritus of the NATS Board and served as former Co-Director of Metropolitan National Council Auditions Wisconsin District. She founded and serves as Artistic Director of Fresco Opera Theatre. At Maven Vocal Arts, she leads a team of accomplished instructors who provide comprehensive vocal instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, emphasizing both vocal technique and artistic development.
