Megan Zuhowski
About
Dr. Megan Zuhowski is an Assistant Professor of Music at the University of South Alabama, serving as Assistant Director of USA Opera Theatre. She teaches applied voice, vocal diction, art song literature, and music business courses. Her scholarly work examines young artists entrepreneurial skills in the ever changing field of music. Dr. Zuhowski has performed leading operatic roles including Suor Angelica (Puccini), Donna Anna (Mozart's Don Giovanni), and Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte). She has collaborated with Mobile Symphony in Beethoven's 9th Symphony and Orff's Carmina Burana. Dr. Zuhowski is a NATS finalist (2016-2019), placing first in category in 2019, and is an active member of the Alabama Chapter of NATS. She has participated in masterclasses with Metropolitan Opera singers including Renée Fleming and Karita Mattila.
