Megan Poff
About
Megan E.B. Poff is a coloratura soprano most noted for her performance and research of Baroque and 20th Century Music. She holds a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Lee University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Mars Hill University with a minor in English. Megan serves as an adjunct voice instructor at York College of Pennsylvania and the Sight & Sound Conservatory, bringing extensive professional performance experience to her teaching. Her previous collegiate experience includes teaching voice and music literature at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She has performed across the United States and Europe, from local theater venues to Broadway productions including Rocktopia. Many of her students have achieved recognition as semi-finalists and finalists in national competitions, gained acceptance to premier musical theater programs, and performed with major regional theater companies. Megan is a principal soprano for The Jane Austen Playlist, an interdisciplinary historical music ensemble. She offers private voice instruction from her home in Strasburg, PA, and has worked with many area professionals who have performed at Sight and Sound Theatres, Fulton Theatre, Dutch Apple Theatre, and other regional venues.
